What is Design Destination London?
Design Destination London is an annual event that brings together American interior designers and architects for an immersive experience hosted by leading British and global makers.
This private, invitation only event offers curated presentations, behind-the-scenes tours, and an intimate look at artisanal craftmanship at its finest.
Attendees enjoy exclusive access to thoughtfully designed experiences, showroom open houses and networking events – showcasing the best of London’s design community.
I am a designer — how do I attend?
Design Destination London may be attended by invitation only.
How do I RSVP?
Click the “RSVP” link in your invitation email. If you can’t find your email, please double check your spam folder. The email was sent from [email protected]. If you still have questions, please contact [email protected].
You will receive an email confirmation after you submit your RSVP.
Will the event fill up?
The RSVP deadline has passed and Design Destination London is full.
You still may use your RSVP link to sign up for the waitlist. This does not guarantee attendance at the event.
Can I bring a guest(s)?
Yes, if they meet specific eligibility criteria. Owners, Principal Designer(s) and Lead Designer(s) are eligible to attend.
Spouses, children, relatives, friends, and clients are not eligible to attend, and may be removed at the discretion of Design Destination London.
How do I add guest(s) to my RSVP?
If your guest meets the eligibility criteria (see above), you may add them to your group when you RSVP.
Do not forward your invitation email to your guest. The email contains links personalized for you. If you forward the email to your guest, this may overwrite your RSVP.
How many guests can I bring?
Attendance is limited to 4 people, in total, per invited firm. Please ensure all firm attendees meet the eligibility requirements.
Does it cost money to attend?
No. Design Destination London is free to attend for invitees and their eligible guests (see above).
Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging costs.
When was the RSVP deadline?
The RSVP deadline was September 30, 2025, by invitation only. The event is full.
You still may use your RSVP link to sign up for the waitlist. This does not guarantee attendance at the event.
Why was I invited?
The Design Destination London invitation list is compiled by our Host Sponsors.
What are the activities?
Planning is underway. Sessions and programming will be announced on the itinerary page.
When can I select my sessions, tours, and excursions?
In November, registered attendees will be contacted via email to select their preferred sessions. Space per session is limited, and on a first come, first served basis.
If you are part of a group attending, each member must make their own selections separately. Please note that you will not automatically be placed in the same session(s).
Are there restrictions on sessions, tours, and excursions?
A maximum of two (2) designers from each firm may attend the same session on the same day. These intimate sessions are networking and learning opportunities, and the goal is to maximize exposure between attendees and brands.
Non-compliance will result in session reassignment at the discretion of DDL.
No such restriction applies to other parts of the event including open houses, cocktail party, welcome breakfast, or panel discussion.
Do some sessions include transportation?
Some sessions include private transportation to and from the session location. This will be clearly noted during the sign up process. Attendees are responsible for arriving at the departure point at or prior to the departure time. Failure to meet on time may result in being left behind.
For all other sessions and parts of the event, attendees are responsible for their own transportation.
Are some sessions only offered on certain days?
Yes, some sessions are only offered on certain days. In November, registered attendees will receive all session details and will select their preferred sessions.
Some Host Sponsors will offer the same session across 2 or 3 days, while other Host Sponsors will offer different sessions each day.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying near Chelsea, London. This neighborhood is located between the two main event venues: Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour and The Pimlico Road. See our hotel recommendations here.
How long should I stay?
Official event programming runs Monday, January 19 through Wednedsday, January 21. See the itinerary here.
Although not part of Design Destination London, the Battersea Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair takes place after the event. DDL attendees will receive complimentary tickets to the fair, valid from Thursday, January 22.
Do I need an ETA to enter the UK?
Yes. As of January 8 2025, US citizens entering the UK must apply for and receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to travel.
If you are attending Design Destination London on January 19-21 2026, you should apply for an ETA.
